International Women’s Day 2023 was a special one. The Scientific Research Council of Jamaica hosted the 7th staging of its Conversations in Science series.
Awe-Inspiring & Bold Creative-Tech Solutions Limited’s Founder and CEO, Kerri-Anne C. Walker was a featured panelist sharing her journey on Women in ICT and encouraging Girls in ICT.
Central to the story she shared was the reality of her being a second-generation black woman in tech and founder of the Tech It Like A Girl initiative which is a subsidiary of Awe-Inspiring & Bold Creative-Tech Solutions Limited. At the end of the afternoon, Kerri-Anne, along with the other presenters, was awarded a plaque commemorating her contribution to the 7th conversation of the ongoing Conversations in Science series.
